The helmet is made from a combination of Aramid and UHMWPE, materials known for their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Weighing just 1.45 kg (size XL), this helmet offers serious ballistic protection without unnecessary strain.

The helmet features side rails and a front shroud, making it easy to add accessories. Ballistic performance is guaranteed at a minimum velocity of 500 m/s and remains ensured within a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. The helmet also provides fragmentation resistance and has been tested for a minimum static load of 68 kg and a dynamic load test at 0.635 m/s. At an impact velocity of 3.048 m/s, less than 68 kg of force is transferred to the head.

The VIGILANT FAST is compatible with all common gas masks worn under the helmet. The helmet is also prepared for the installation of an in-ear audio communications system.
