The Helikon-Tex Chinook Jacket is a lightweight, protective outer layer developed for use in wet and windy conditions. Its 2.5-layer membrane construction offers a 20,000-millimeter water column, effectively protecting the jacket against heavy rain and wind. At the same time, the membrane allows moisture to escape from the inside, maintaining comfort during exertion.

With a breathability rating of 20,000 grams per square meter per 24 hours, excess heat and perspiration are efficiently expelled. Additional ventilation openings under the arms support airflow during intensive use. The taped seams and water-repellent coating reduce water ingress and protect critical areas such as zippers.

The jacket features an adjustable hood, adjustable cuffs, and a drawcord in the hem, allowing the fit to be easily adjusted to changing conditions. Four functional pockets provide space for essential equipment, while the compact construction allows the jacket to be packed into the hood or the included carry bag.
