Helikon-Tex Cougar QSA + HID Jacket Black
KU-CGR-SM-01
Cougar® is an urban lightweight outer (softshell) garment. The fabric protects against wind and light rain. The collar-stowable hood is easily adjustable via a drawstring accessible from the pocket and a rear tab. The hood is quickly accessible, with its pocket secured by a two-way zipper. The jacket has three concealed ID panels, suitable for law enforcement stakeout operations: two smaller ones on the front and one larger one on the back. Two Velcro-attached blank ID panels are included for the user to embroider or print suitable identification. The chest pockets have small organizers and D-rings for lanyards, while the upper-sleeve pockets have wiring eyelets. There is a fairly large Velcro-closed inner pocket at the lower left.
The Quick Side Access (QSA) system allows easy access to belt-mounted tactical items. Thanks to QSA's ergonomic features, the user can access belt-mounted items, such as a holster, in one fluid movement, reducing reaction time in an emergency or life-threatening situation. The casual appearance and proper placement of the QSA zippered slots facilitate urban law enforcement operations.
