What to do when it’s stifling hot, yet you need to go tactical and require all the tactical functionality of the UTP® pants? Try the UTS®, Urban Tactical Shorts®, our best-selling pants in a cut-down version.
The cut and pocket layout keep them civilian enough not to disclose the wearer’s identity, while still allowing you to carry a full set of tactical equipment. The elastic, Velcro-closed waistband allows adjustment within the size range. Large belt loops accommodate wide belts such as EDC, UTL® or Cobra®. The cut, inspired by blue jeans, also prevents the shorts from slipping down while worn.
Thanks to the well-thought-out pocket layout, equipment can be placed close to the center of mass, around the hips and waist. The edges of the front and rear pockets are reinforced to withstand constant movement from light or knife clips. Two Velcro-closed front pockets are large enough to carry a smartphone—or even an AR/AK rifle magazine. The thigh zippered pockets look flat, but their design allows pouches or wallets to be carried with ease. A wide variety of colors allows you to match the shorts to the rest of your wardrobe or working conditions.
FEATURES:
-Elastic waistband with Velcro fastener
-50 mm wide belt loops
-Two key loops, D-ring or carabiner compatible
-Classic jeans ‘neck’ shape prevents riding down
-Two internal low-profile pockets
-Two classic front pockets with reinforced edges for gear clips
-Two wide back pockets
-Two slim back pockets inside the back pockets. (Depth-adjustable)
-Two thigh cargo pockets with YKK® reverse zippers
-Two front Velcro-closed flap pockets for a smartphone or AR magazine
-Internal pant-leg length: 11”
-YKK® zippered fly
