Pocket Filter

Katadyn Pocket Filter
2010000

The Katadyn Pocket Filter is a robust hand-pump water filter developed for long-term use in harsh conditions. This filtration system uses a ceramic depth filter with a pore size of 0.2 microns (0.0002 millimeters). As a result, bacteria, protozoa, and other disease-causing microorganisms, as well as sediment, are effectively filtered from the water.

The filter is suitable for both clear and turbid water and provides a consistent flow rate of 1 liter per minute. Thanks to the silver-impregnated ceramic filter, bacterial growth within the filter itself is inhibited, contributing to a longer service life and reliable performance during use.

An important advantage of this system is that the ceramic filter can be cleaned multiple times, including in the field. This preserves the filter capacity and reduces the need for replacement. The total capacity is up to 50,000 liters, depending on water quality.

The construction is designed for durability and long-term use. The Katadyn Pocket Filter is manufactured from high-quality materials and designed for intensive use during outdoor activities, expeditions, and professional applications.
