Splint - Gray

SAM Splint Gray
SAM1109F

The SAM Splint is based on the ancient principle: Curves are strong.

Bending the material makes it extremely rigid, allowing any fracture or injured limb to be splinted. Even the neck can be immobilized.

Because the material consists of a thin layer of aluminum surrounded by foam rubber, it is highly flexible. This allows a very flexible and bendable piece of aluminum to be folded into a product that has even been used as a paddle or snow shovel in emergencies.

It is also easy to shape and soft enough to cut to any desired size, and it is radiolucent.
