The Savotta Jääkäri L is the larger multi-day backpack in the Jääkäri series, with a capacity of approximately 55 liters. This model is based on the Border Patrol backpack, which was specially designed for the Finnish Border Guard in the 1980s. Thanks to its internal aluminum frame construction, sturdy padded shoulder straps, and removable hip belt, the Jääkäri L carries heavy loads comfortably and stably.

The backpack can be configured flexibly: the roll-top closure at the top, the zipper at the bottom, and the adjustable divider allow the bag to be used as one large compartment or divided into separate sections. A zippered pocket in the lid provides space for valuables such as a phone, wallet, and travel documents.

Thanks to the adjustable compression straps and PALS system, the backpack can be expanded modularly and is suitable for a wide range of activities, from multi-day hikes to military applications. The internal hydration bladder holder with a hose outlet also makes the backpack suitable for hydration systems.
