The TRAMONTANE jacket is an ultralight windproof layer. It was created to fill the gap between the Blizzard softshell and the Windrunner jacket in the Helikon-Tex range.

The TRAMONTANE weighs approximately 100 g. When packed into the pocket sewn into the chest (the so-called self-pack), it can be compressed to the size of a soda can. Stored this way, it can even fit in a trouser pocket. In summer, when the temperature drops, it works as an independent protective layer over a T-shirt, for example as a hiking jacket. The low weight of the TRAMONTANE jacket is noticeable when worn: it protects against the wind without restricting movement, so you may even forget you are wearing it. In colder weather, it makes an excellent combination with a fleece or combat shirt from the Patrol line.

The TRAMONTANE jacket is made of very lightweight yet durable WindPack® Nylon. It is a quick-drying, non-absorbent material additionally treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellency), so it can repel light rain or snow. Even when wet, the Tramontane jacket dries very quickly. The full-length zipper also provides good ventilation. Meanwhile, the drawstring at the bottom hem, elastic cuffs, and adjustable hood allow you to retain warmth when needed.

The windproof jackets in the Helikon-Tex range are named after various types of wind. The TRAMONTANE jacket takes its name from the cool north or northeast wind found in the Mediterranean.

Have your order shipped to a ship or unit abroad. Enter the NAPO address as the shipping address in the shopping cart. We will provide the package with a completed and signed CN 22 customs declaration and ship it discreetly.

You can collect your order from our warehouse in Apeldoorn. As soon as we receive your order, we will prepare it for you as quickly as possible. Would you like to collect it outside our opening hours? Please contact us.

After cancellation, you have 14 days to return your order, and exchanges are also possible within 14 days. Returns are accepted only when the products have their original labels and packaging and are not damaged and/or used.
