The Carinthia HIG 5.0 Jacket sits exactly between the dynamic insulation jackets and heavy cold-weather protection. Where the MIG is built for movement and the ECIG for extreme cold, the HIG is the jacket for operations where the two alternate: patrolling, standing guard, observing. It stays reliably warm down to -20 °C without overheating you the moment the pace picks up.

That balance comes from combining a high insulation value with active ventilation. The G-LOFT fill (145 g/m² in the body, 110 g/m² in the sleeves) delivers warmth during static periods, while the pit zips in the underarm area release heat as soon as you start moving. The two-part front zip increases flexibility in the field and the new inner quilting design limits cold bridges. Inner and mesh pockets are optimised for warming and drying gloves, the zipped Napoleon pocket keeps essentials secure. Windproof and highly water-repellent.
