The Savotta Jääkäri L is the larger multi-day pack of the Jääkäri family, with a capacity of approx. 55 litres. Based on the original Border Patrol pack developed in the 1980s for the Finnish Border Guard, this rucksack combines durability with versatility. Its tubular aluminium frame, padded shoulder harness, and removable hip belt ensure comfortable load carrying even with heavy gear.
The pack can be configured in various ways: the roll-top closure, bottom zipper, and internal divider allow you to use it as one large compartment or separated sections. A zippered lid pocket safely stores valuables such as a wallet, keys, or phone.
Thanks to its compression straps and PALS webbing, the Jääkäri L offers excellent scalability. Additional gear, pouches, or hydration systems can be attached as needed, making this pack suitable for long hikes, tactical missions, and demanding expeditions.
