The Spyderco Street Bowie is a design by French knifemaker Fred Perrin, combining classic bowie proportions with modern materials and a number of well-considered details. One of the most distinctive features is the index finger choil on the upper side of the handle. This choil acts as a natural guard, providing the same level of hand control as a traditional crossguard without the added bulk or weight.
The 12.70 cm blade is made from VG-10 steel at 59 HRC and features a black ceramic coating that significantly reduces reflection. The 11.10 cm handle is constructed from FRN (Fibre Reinforced Nylon) with Kraton rubber inserts for a secure and comfortable grip in all conditions. At a total length of 23.80 cm and a weight of just 105 grams, this knife is both light and easy to handle. A Kydex sheath is included.
