The Savotta Jääkäri XL is the largest model in the Jääkäri series, purpose-built to carry heavy and bulky equipment with ease. Based on the original LJK paratrooper frame of the Finnish Defence Forces, it combines a modular design with a heavy-duty external aluminium frame to provide maximum support and load transfer.
With a capacity of approximately 70 litres, this pack is made for demanding expeditions, long journeys, and professional field use. The main compartment features a roll-top closure at the top, an internal cinch cord divider, and a bottom zipper. This allows flexible use as either one large chamber or multiple separate sections, while the bottom zipper ensures quick access to essential gear.
The fully height-adjustable carrying system is designed for users from 160 to 200 cm tall. The S-shaped shoulder straps and padded, removable hip belt are thermoformed for long-lasting comfort. The hip belt can also be detached and used as a standalone equipment belt.
A PALS webbing system covers the sides, lid, hip belt and bottom of the pack, allowing attachment of extra pouches, straps, or tools. Side compression straps, an internal hydration compartment and multiple organiser pockets further enhance its modularity and practicality.
Built from military-grade 1000D Cordura® with a polyurethane coating, as specified by the Finnish Defence Forces, the Jääkäri XL is extremely durable and suitable for professional use under the toughest conditions.
