The Magpul ASAP® (Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point) is designed to provide shooters with maximum freedom of movement when using a sling. With a range of motion greater than 180 degrees, it allows seamless shoulder transitions for both left- and right-handed users.
Replacing the standard AR15/M4 carbine stock receiver end plate, the ASAP offers a tactical advantage by reducing sling snagging and enabling rapid weapon transitions from strong side to reaction side. It is compatible with single-point slings featuring snap hook style attachments such as the Magpul Paraclip™ and MS3® Sling GEN2.
Constructed from precision-cast steel with a QPQ salt bath nitride finish, the ASAP is resistant to wear and corrosion. Its welded-link ring is built to endure stress tests of more than 300 lbs (over 136 kg) and fits both Mil-Spec and Commercial-Spec carbine receiver extensions (buffer tubes).
