The Vortex Anti Reflection Device for the StrikeFire red dot is designed to eliminate unwanted glare while adding an extra layer of protection to the optic. Its solid honeycomb structure interrupts incoming sunlight before it reaches the lens, greatly reducing reflections and creating a calmer, more consistent sight picture. This not only improves the shooter’s view but also prevents live targets from noticing the colored reflection of the objective lens.
The ARD uses a thread diameter of approximately thirty four point nine millimetres and installs directly onto the StrikeFire objective. To mount it, the flip cap must be removed briefly. The ARD is then screwed into the objective housing, after which the flip cap can be reattached. Besides reducing glare, the KILLflash ARD helps protect the front lens from scratches and minor impact damage.
