The Streamlight Sidewinder Stalk is designed to reduce the amount of lighting equipment an operator needs to carry while maintaining maximum versatility. This ultra-compact helmet light combines multiple illumination sources in a low-profile housing and features a flexible stalk that allows precise aiming of the beam, even in confined or fast-changing environments.
The light head mounted on the flexible stalk contains white, red, blue, green and infrared LEDs. Each color can be used at multiple output levels and includes a strobe mode. For tactical identification purposes, the Sidewinder Stalk features a dedicated Identification Friend or Foe switch, allowing the infrared IFF beacon to be activated independently from the main light.
Multi-fuel capability allows the Sidewinder Stalk to operate on several battery types, ensuring operational flexibility in the field. The housing is made from high-impact nylon and fully sealed with O-rings and gaskets, providing excellent durability and resistance to water and dust. This makes the light suitable for demanding professional and military applications.
Designed as a military helmet light system, the Sidewinder Stalk offers multiple mounting options, including ARC rail, MOLLE and hook-and-loop adapters. Operation is straightforward, using a push button for power and intensity control and a rotary selector for choosing the desired light color. Electronic regulation ensures consistent output throughout the battery’s runtime.
