The Helikon-Tex Chinook Jacket is a lightweight protective outer layer designed for use in wet and windy conditions. Its 2.5-layer membrane construction provides a water resistance of 20,000 millimeters, offering reliable protection against heavy rain and strong wind. At the same time, the membrane efficiently transports moisture from the inside to the outside, maintaining comfort during physical activity.
With a breathability rating of 20,000 grams per square meter per twenty-four hours, excess heat and perspiration are effectively released. Additional underarm ventilation zippers enhance airflow during intensive use. Taped seams and a water-repellent coating help limit water penetration and protect critical areas such as zippers.
The jacket features an adjustable hood, adjustable cuffs and a drawcord hem, allowing the fit to be adapted to changing conditions. Four functional pockets provide space for essential gear, while the compact design allows the jacket to be packed into the hood or the included carry bag.
