The VIGILANT FAST Ballistic Helmet is a NIJ IIIA certified ballistic helmet offering protection against 9mm and .44 Magnum rounds. Constructed from a combination of Aramid and UHMWPE, these materials are renowned for their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Weighing just 1.45 kg in size XL, this helmet delivers serious ballistic protection without unnecessary bulk.
The helmet features side rails and a front shroud, allowing straightforward integration of accessories. Ballistic performance is guaranteed at a minimum velocity of 500 m/s and remains effective across a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. The helmet also provides fragmentation resistance and has been tested to a minimum static load of 68 kg and a dynamic load test at 0.635 m/s. At an impact velocity of 3.048 m/s, less than 68 kg of force is transmitted to the head.
The VIGILANT FAST is compatible with all major gas masks worn under the helmet. In addition, the helmet is prepared for installation of an in-ear audio communication system. Supplied complete with a helmet cover.
