The Warrior Second Generation Command Panel is the latest addition within the Warrior range. This new Generation Panel originated from Warrior’s original Gen1 Command Panel through feedback from the operational user (UK Front Line Combat Forces deployed in Afghanistan). The large Velcro patch provides space for more ID patches and rank insignia. The Gen2 model is now equipped with a quick closing system in combination with a heavy duty zipper. This ensures that the Operator/Commander can quickly close his panel, preventing essential items from falling out during breaking contact or moving forward. The panel can then be secured more thoroughly at a calmer moment outside the already mentioned zipper.
The Warrior Command Panel ensures comfortable organization of maps, UGS, formats, IK’s and other navigation items. When the pouch is opened you see a flat clean surface ideal for writing. There is also a transparent sleeve inside (ideal for maps). On the outside the Warrior Command Panel Gen1 pouch has 6 Molle rows across the full width, enough for attaching extra pouches. On the inside there are 2 compartments and elastic loops perfectly usable for pens, pencils, markers, knives, breaklights, notebooks etc.
The Warrior Command Panel requires 6 Molle rows for attachment to plate carrier, chest carrier, belt or bag.
The threats to the stitching whereby the construction, durability and strength of the tactical equipment are reduced.
The 2 most important influencing factors are:
Mildew (mold caused by storing the equipment wet) is the most common factor whereby the stitching deteriorates, rots or even becomes completely unusable.
Sunlight will cause the stitching to deteriorate.
Warrior Assault only uses US-made US Mil Spec nylon, this is the highest quality nylon which is treated against Mildew and UV light.
All materials used by Warrior Assault are treated/made for the lowest possible IR signature.
